Q1: What is your typical lead time for mold manufacturing?
A: For a standard single-cavity mold, lead time is 35-40 working days after final design approval and deposit. Multi-cavity or complex molds may require 45-60 days. We provide a detailed project schedule upon order confirmation.

Q2: What is your mold warranty and lifespan guarantee?
A: We provide a 12-month warranty against any manufacturing or material defects. Depending on the steel grade and plastic material used.

Q3: What mold steels do you use, and can I choose a different grade?
A: We standardly use premium steels like S136, 2344, H13, 718H, SS420 etc from reputable mills. Yes, you can specify the steel grade. We will advise on the best option for your part material, volume, and cost requirements.

Q4: Do you provide DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis?
A: Yes, absolutely. Before manufacturing, our engineering team provides a free DFM report. This highlights potential issues (like wall thickness, undercuts, shrinkage) and optimizes your part design for quality, cost, and mold longevity.

Q5: What about mold trials and sample parts?
A: We conduct 2-3 mold trials (T1, T2) in our factory. We will send you video of the trial process and 5-10 sample parts by express for your approval before mass production. Sample cost is included in the mold price.

Q6: Do you work with Hot Runner systems? Which brands?
A: Yes, we have extensive experience. We commonly use YUDO, HASCO,  or Mold-Masters systems. We will recommend a cost-effective and reliable solution based on your part design.

Q7: How do you ensure the mold quality and precision?
A: We use CNC, EDM, and high-speed machining centers. Quality is controlled via CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) inspection, mold flow analysis (upon request), and strict final inspection checklists to ensure dimensions match your 3D data.

Q8: Who owns the mold design and intellectual property (IP)?
A: Upon full payment, you (the customer) own all rights to the finalized mold design and the physical mold. We sign an NDA and will not replicate or use your design for any other purpose.

Q9: Can you handle the entire process from mold to mass production?
A: Yes, we are a one-stop service provider. We can manufacture the mold and then produce the injection molded parts in our own facility, ensuring quality control from start to finish.
